Haji Lane / Arab Street
Haji Lane and Arab Street are probably the most Instagrammed places in Singapore after the Merlion and Marina Bay Sands. The popularity of the hipster street is due to the colorful graffitied murals, unique concept boutique stores and cafes that create a sense of fun, youth, and excitement. The murals along these streets are the reason for visiting alone.
Pinnacle at Duxton
The Pinnacle @ Duxton is one of the most iconic housing projects in Singapore’s public housing history, with many unique features that set it apart from the other HDB housing projects. Most tourists go to the Marina Bay Sands Skypark to enjoy Singapore’s view, but there is a hidden gem which is less popular but offers an impressive view as well at a much cheaper price.
What makes The Pinnacle @ Duxton special is the two sky bridges on the 26th and 50th storey. The sky bridge on the 26th storey is only open to residents, whereas the one on the 50th storey is open to both the residents and the public. The sky bridge offers one of the most breathtaking panoramic views of Singapore’s city skyline.
Ann Siang Hill Park
A charming street by day, a buzzing enclave by night. Located in Chinatown, the interconnected enclaves of Ann Siang Hill and Club Street. There are also some lovely stores and brightly coloured walls, a few boutique hotel, indie retail shops, restored shophouses in the mix. The choice of places and wall patterns may be overwhelming.
The Istana park has a tall metallic structure that offers some unique architecture to composition framed in your photographs. There’s also a floral corridor located nearby that has a certain romantic vibe to it.
Tiong Bahru Playground
When we talk about old-school playgrounds in Singapore, tiled dragon playground is not the only one we think of. How about the centerpiece and iconic of the Park is the tilted Train Playground? It is developed in 1967, Tiong Bahru Park is a haven of tranquillity for the nearby residents of Henderson, Bukit Merah, and Lower Delta Road. Tiong Bahru Playground has swings, merry-go-rounds and other play elements.
Esplanade Roof Terrace
Providing a magnificent view of the city and Marina Bay, the Esplanade Rooftop Terrace is a popular space for snapping the perfect photo of Singapore’s modern skyline. Dimly lit, this is as well a popular spot for local couples seeking a romantic outing.
Gardens by the Bay
We have visited many places that are scenic and beautiful, Gardens by the Bay is no exception to it. By far one of the most attractive tourist spots, many would love to capture the moments and bringing back the memories in photographs.
Gardens by the Bay East / Tanjong Rhu
No doubt, Gardens by the Bay is one of the most attractive tourist spot, not many know there is another side of Gardens by the Bay, by the name of Gardens by the Bay East. It’s a long stretch of pavement, only tanjong rhu neighborhood would be most familiar with. During sunset, you will get a beautiful panoramic view of the skyline of Singapore city.
At the entrance to Emerald Hill where it meets Orchard Road, you’ll find the cheerily-colored shophouses of Peranakan Place housing a handful of restaurants and bars. Walk a little further up the hill, however, and you’ll enter a different world, far removed from the chaos of Orchard Road.
Enjoy your family photoshoot while watching the Singapore Flyer and skyline of the city. The Marina Barrage creates Singapore’s 15th reservoir, and the first in the heart of the city. It is the place to go to if you want a uniquely Singapore backdrop with lovely cityscape.
People’s Park Complex
People’s Park Complex is on the verge of becoming an overused background, with the backdrop of the cityscape of the CBD area. People’s Park Complex is both a commercial and residential property located at the heart of Chinatown. On the rooftop carpark of level six in the complex, you can see a huge yellow building that is also fast becoming one of the Instagrammable places in Singapore.
Marina Bay Sands
The Marina Bay Sands teems with Singapore’s latest collection of world-class architecture. There are many spaces and corners which are absolutely great for photographs backdrops, the lion bridge which connects Marina Bay Sands to Gardens by the Bay has a good backdrop of GBTB’s Supertree Structure.
Fort Canning Park
If you are planning for a photo shoot that gives off a more rustic feel, Fort Canning Park could easily help you to achieve that. A combination of nature and remnants of old historical architecture, it is a popular location for photoshoots in recent years.
Tiong Bahru Estate
If you’re vintage lovers or old school places explorer. Tiong Bahru is the perfect place for you, whimsicality surround with old school shophouses and residential, and there are so many nooks and crannies that make every engagement session fun and unique.
Chijmes is a historic building complex in Singapore that was once a chapel and school. This Gothic-style chapel and a magical main hall have been gazetted as national monuments of Singapore. It’s great for pre-wedding, couples photoshoot, and compositions Instagram pictures. So you know that Chijmes is definitely one of the beautiful photoshoot locations. Everyone visits Sentosa for Universal Studios but not many people explore the boardwalk linked from Vivocity to Sentosa island. Sentosa Boardwalk is one the best places to have a beautiful scenic view of Singapore’s non-city view skyline.
National Gallery Singapore
National Gallery Singapore is one of the most recommended indoor and outdoor photography locations. National Gallery Singapore’s artfully restored buildings are a visually pleasing blend of contemporary and colonial influences. Formerly the Supreme Court and City Hall, we adore its tiled floors, long corridors, and arched corridors.
National Museum of Singapore
Previously known as the Singapore History Museum, the National Museum of Singapore, is one of the favourite photoshoot spots for Couples and Anniversary Photography. Some spots of the Museum may even hold fond memories of married couples who used to date around this area.
